British activist Lauri Love appeared on ITV Anglia — in a segment that will headline tonight’s news segment at 6pm local time — to discuss his upcoming extradition trial. He says that he doesn’t believe he’s done anything criminal, and incarcerating him would be a waste not only of tax dollars and time but of his talents, which could be used to help society.
The program makes an explicit link with Gary McKinnon, whose extradition was blocked after a ten-year legal battle. It also introduces his property case, in which he’s trying to retrieve his seized items and the NCA is trying to compel him to surrender his encryption keys.
